Big Change in Marriage Life
Everyone thinks that marriage is happiness to couple, but it is not al all truth. The marriage has adapted to new life and they have to change certain things to share with each other. Single life and married life are different in some aspects. When you are a single person, you have more independence, you have fewer responsibilities and you don’t worry about the financial situation.
A single person is more independent than married person. The single people make their own decision; in contrast, married people have to share decision with their partner. The husband has decided the best things to get a better life. When you get married you are limit in go out with your friends. Even if you can meet with friends, but you should introduce you partner. Sometimes you need to meet yours friends alone. In addition, when people get married they depend on the other person because they are sharing their lives. In the case of the woman depend on the economic situation or they have just spend money according to budget. On the other hand, when it comes talking care of their health.
The single person has fewer responsibilities because she just takes care of herself. When you get married, you have to prepare food everyday. A married woman should cook everyday, even if she works and she has other duties. However, a single woman can cook everything she likes and whenever she wants. Another responsibility married woman is taking care of the household business. She has to maintain the house beautiful and wash the clothes. These responsibilities she had before getting married, but she has to work to her partner too.
When people get married, they have to think about financial situation because the bills are more expensive. A single person has pay bills too, but there is less pressure. The husband has to worry about save money for the future. The single person doesn’t have to much financial limit. The married person should think about safe money if she thinks about have children.
I n conclusion, the single life has many differences with married life; However, the people have to adapt their new life because it is for their future.

Dogs or Cats should be your Pet
It is well known that dogs and cats have always animosity towards to each other. So we hardly to see humans have dog and cat together. Cats and dogs, do we have to compare these two pets? Obviously, dogs are better. Everyone knows that well. Let’s start talking about the reason why.
First of all, dogs defend people. Have you ever heard about guard dogs? Don’t you feel safer when you stay at home with your dog? They can give you a warning. Dogs equal safety. What about cats. Have you ever seen cats bark when stranger got in to your house? Impossible, cats only moan “Meow, meow, meow” Then, they run away and watch the robber steal your stuff from your house. So what do you want for safety?
Second, dogs are alert and active. When you feel lonely, you need someone to walk or go out with. Dogs are good friends for you. You can take them walking in to public parks. Also you can throw a ball and play with them in the yard. But cats never walk along outside or bring a ball back to you. They just walk sneaking on the porch.
Third, dogs are known as “Man’s best friend” We known since ancient times that dogs are man’s best friend. They have always worked hard with people. They can go hunting in the forest. Dogs can find the direction when you get lost from their commander nose. Humans can use their labor to drag a cart. However, cats pee on people’s rug or scratch their furniture. In conclusion, so would you like to have they loyalty of good guard, a good friend to play with you everywhere, and the best friend that can help you anytime? Life in rural and urban
What influences can individual to select a place for living over the other? The place they choose will affect their way of life. People may think rural living is more relaxed, and that urban living may be more fun. These two place both have advantages from the others. On the other hand, having advantages means they must have disadvantages. Each characteristic can influence people’s decision.
Urban life is a modern living condition, everything is well developed like transportation. By using bus, taxi and train, you can go to anywhere without driving your own car. It is so convenient for the daily life. Since it was developed, more and more industrial factories were built. They have polluted the air and make the resident easy to get ill. Moreover, it may cause some specific urban illness. On the other hand, rural life has fresh air which is good for our health. More flat land and green plants are good for our eyes. However, rural areas is far from the city. The transportation is poor, and it is hard to go anywhere without a car. So the people who living there may waste a lot of time on transport.
In the daily life, people living in urban areas have a busy life. For a college student, they may need to go to school during the daytime and work at nighttime. They may also need to spend extra time on entertainment with their friend, even if they are really tired. Life in rural areas seems more relaxed. Although they don’t have so much joy as urban, they have an easier life. People in rural areas may only need to take care their own business such as farmland. By the way, they are the boss of the business. They don’t need to rush to work on time.
Finally, urban people may have more stress. Since they live in dense population areas, people get more friction to each other. They are always being compared to others. It forces them start having competition between each other in school, work and everything. This will make the society a improve, yet this is the main source of stress. Thought rural have a poor society structure, they are close between their neighborhoods. They can reduce the stress by talking to other with their free time. There is less competitive for them too because they have less chance in doing similar job like produce corn or fruit.
By considering both advantages and disadvantages, people will choose their best fit area to live. There is no perfect place without and problem to live in this world. Everyone has a different habit of living. Their habit is the main reason why people keep immigrating around the world.

SLR Film Camera vs SLR Digital Camera
Do you prefer to use analog or digital things? If you’re planning to buy a SLR camera, which one would you like to get, film or digital camera? Both of them will cost but have nice qualities, and the process of taking a photo and making a print are quite different. Nowadays, digital cameras (not SLR) dominate a market because it’s easy to use it effectively. Still, SLR film camera is loved by many photographers.
The first thing is the cost of camera, parts and running costs. Both of cameras need a lens. Lens takes a lot of money the same way. How about the body? Film camera is not so expensive, but you have to spend your many on film and development. On the other hand, digital camera is really expensive, but you don’t have to buy things, which I described above.
The second difference is hot to take a photo. Usually, film camera uses manual focus mode. There are some steps before you take a photo. First, you have to think about how light the place is. This is very important to set the aperture and shutter speed because most of film cameras don’t have a speed light, so you have to figure out the light with using exposure meter. Then, you pull the film lever, focus on what you want to take, and release a shutter. It looks a little bit hard for you, but you can feel some good sense of tension and get satisfaction from these steps. Digital camera uses auto focus mode, so it’s convenient and easy to focus on the subject. Then, you can check what you took right after with the LCD of digital camera. Film camera doesn’t have a LCD but you will look forward to seeing the images that you took with the camera.
The last difference is how to make a print. Again, film camera has many steps and needs special tools to make a print, but you can use a lot of imagination to figure out the best print for each photo. You use a printing machine and color filters, or you can make your own darkroom in your home bathroom. You expose the image of film to a paper, and then put it into the liquids for developing. Cats and Dogs as Pets
Have you ever owned a cat or a dog? You may think cats and dogs are very similar pets. However, if you not only adopted a cat but also a dog, you would find some differences. I owned a cat and a dog two years ago. When I compare the two kinds of pets, the advantages of owning dogs are clear.
First, dogs are more handsome than cats. My dog, who was Alex, was a big furry white dog. He had big brown eyes, pointed ears, an all white body, and he weighed 100 Ibs. Cats, even though they are delightful, they are too small. My cat’s name was Scotch, and he was a cute little ball of fur. He had orange and white fur, green eyes, and long white wiskers but weighed only 10 Ibs. I like bigger pets!
Second, dogs are friendier than cats. Dogs are man’s best friend. Alex was like my family member. When I came home, he always ran to the door immediately to greet me. We often played and were dependent on each other. Scotch, on the other hand, was somewhat unfriendly. Scotch always scatched, bit, and slept on the sofa; he never got up to greet me or play with me. he was too individualistic and very selfish.
Third, dogs are smarter than cats. Alex was highly intelligent, so he understood my needs. He often helped to look for my keys, watches, and shoes when I forgot where they were. Once, I forgot my keys, and Alex looked for them under the sofa. However, Scotch was silly, so he never understood my needs. At the time, he just woke up and jumped to me for his food. I gave it to him. After he ate, he went away.

When do you usually shop? I usually go to stores shopping is to be classified into two types which are shopping at stores and shopping online. There are three different characteristics between store shopping and online shopping and there are strengths and weaknesses to both types.
My first point of discussion is convenience. When you go shopping at store, you can find what you want. Therefore, you often spend time consuming and it difficult to compare prices. On the other hand, online shopping makes it easy for you to search for and locate exactly what you are looking for. Also, when you shop, it is easy to compare prices. You can save time online shopping because you can do it on your use computer at home.
Both ways of shopping, however, is product choice in your own way. Store shopping is expensive because they sell new things. However, you can try on the clothes and see if they fit. Online shopping is cheap because you can check the lower price. Obviously, when you shop online, you cannot try on the clothes, so you may have doubts about the purchase.
Finally, the procedures are different for both shopping. Procedure of store shopping is very simple. You can in cash or with a credit card. Also, store shopping does not have delivery charge. When you go shopping, you can enjoy the time with your friends. Online shopping sometimes has complicated procedure to buy, and you have to pay delivery. What kind of school did you graduate from coed or single sex education? We have passed our school day in our lives. Some people graduated from coed school or single sex education. You might have heard about these school’s differences from your friends. We could compare between coed and single and single education such as communication in society, their appearance, and education with their classmates.
Communication is the most important in society. One difference is we talked with our classmates. If someone graduated from a coed or single sex school, he/she can talk easily to everyone. In case of coeducation, students can talk easily to the opposite sex without shame. It can influence that they have opportunities to meet people of the opposite sex. Moreover, they could have a large acquaintance with the opposite sex relationship. In contrast, single sex education students might have a hard talking to people of the opposite sex. They can be bashful when they have chance to talk with opposite sex people. Their education is also a factor in having opportunities to meet people of the opposite sex. Beside, they can get illusions. For example, our classmate Dee thinks women always have good fragrance from women’s body. As well as, he thinks women do not fart. Like that, it can be made illusions from people of opposite sex.
We can also see many differences students’ appearance some may seems orderly appearance or not orderly appearance. In case of coeducational students, when they see their appearance, everyone is clean because they don’t want to show sloppy to students of the opposite sex. For instance, I graduated from a coed school when I was a high school student. I took care of my appearance. Not only me, have my classmates all took care about owned appearance. In contrast, single sex education students, some don’t care about their appearance because they don’t need to show pretty figure to their classmates. For example, I have friends who graduated from single sex education. I could know her school students. She told me that her classmates sometimes don’t wash their hair for three days.
Finally, confidence is another subject which have from students such as male students ate strong with science and female students are strong with literary course. In the case of coeducation students, they can learn about mutual strong point. If a female student doesn’t know math questions, she can ask a male student. Moreover, they can compete with each other on many subjects. In contrast, single sex education students could compete with only male/female students in their class. It can be strong with one subject.
Students can have many experiences in their school days. After they graduate high school, they will meet people of the opposite sex on society. In addition, they will get relationship between people of the opposite sex. We can make our own social relationships. Students could be made socialize by education.

It’s said that dogs are human’s best friends. Nowadays, more and more people like owning dogs. However, people have different opinions about dogs, and they treat them in different ways. There are many differences between owning a dog in Chicago and my hometown. People have different opinions, purposes of owning dogs and ways of treating dogs.
People in Chicago and my hometown have different opinions of dogs. In Chicago, people love and protect dogs. In their opinion, dogs are their friends or family members, and they get on well with dogs. In my hometown, few people know the importance of protecting dogs, even the owners of dogs. They think dogs are low and cheap, so they will never value their lives. Moreover, some people harm and kill dogs, and some people eat dog meat. It’s a very terrible and bad behavior.
People in Chicago and my hometown have different purposes of owning dogs. In Chicago, many people like owning dogs because they think that dogs are like their friends who can accompany them at home at any time. Moreover, many people want to own a dog instead of having a child. In my hometown, most people don’t really like dogs. You never see dogs in city, but you can see dogs everywhere in the villages. The owners enjoy staying with their dogs, and they walk their dogs outside every day. On the other hand, people in my hometown don’t treat dogs well. The dogs don’t have good food to eat, and they just eat what their owners don’t like at all or they want to throw away. The owners will never help them dress up in clothes. If the dog is ill, they are unwilling to take it to see a doctor because it cost money. Moreover, they spend a little time taking care of them. The dogs are often dirty because they just help them take a bath one or two times a month. Therefore, they don’t allow the dogs into the house, and the dogs sleep outside in all seasons.
Dogs have different lives in Chicago and my hometown. I think people in my hometown should study from people in Chicago about how to get on well with dogs. People should have a good relationship with dogs because dogs are really human’s friends, and they help people a lot. I hope that there will be more and more people loving and protecting dogs in my hometown in the future.

Something I miss from my hometown
I belong to Tehran, a city which sound of peony its prisoned. A city whose
people are like rats with plague occupied with their everyday life. I can sense
a rotting smell from Tehran' prison walls, walls that are even higher than Berlin's.
Every wall you look at in the city has signs of hatred written all over it.
Tehran is a city which memories of it are being forgotten.
It is a city with fainted friendships, with double faced deceiving citizens.
It is a bitter, sad and silent city. However, what can I do ? with all its evil,
I miss Pahlavi Street trees whose branches are reaching towards the sky.
I miss the crisp, fresh air of its always white Damavand Mountain.
I miss its narrow alleys after rainfall and the feeling of autumn on my skin.
I miss the uproar of its children in the fall uniting with the tunes of canaries.
I miss noon time in the summer and the shadow of the old willow in our
backyard.
I miss the tune of barn-swallow from the distance.
What can I do ? With all its evils, I miss my Hometown.

Living in Chicago
I consider Chicago one of the most beautiful cities in the United States. Its scenery is awesome in all seasons, which I really like more is fall. It also got a lot of beautiful places, my favourite "Lake Michigan", surrounded by the beach and parks, definitely it is a good place to spend some time.
I have been living in the U.S. for seven years, from which I spend four months in New York last year, but I did not like it, and well I moved back to what I consider my home Chicago. I'm going to clarify one thing, I like New York for vacation, but not to stay living there, it is too crazy for me.
Chicago is just beautiful, a lot of malls, services and and the variety of people and cultures makes it special. I'm Hispanic, and is nice for me to find people who speak my language, stores where sells products from my country, makes me remember when I was there.
I think the city's public transportation is good also the express way is good too, and they still working on to make it better, so I really like that because is easy for you to move from one place to another.
All what I mention before, and a lot more makes Chicago very special for me, and a peaceful place to live. I enjoy everyday living here, and for the moment I don't even think about moving out from here.

The Benefits of Having Deeper Dreams
Some people have a hard time falling asleep at night like me. Others can sleep very well just in seconds them falling asleep. Some of them have deep dreams and it is very hard awake up like my sister. My sister and I shared the bedroom when I was 15 years ago. I hated to watch the terror movie because I always was who had a turn off the light. My sister who was 2 years younger than me, she was terror movie fanatic, also she falling asleep soon. Instead me, I suffered at least one hour. Once we watched the movie “Psychosis”; it was terrible for me. I remember that my sister commented me how she likes the movie. Suddenly, she had stopping talk and I tried awaking her up but, my attempt was useless. After a few minutes, she was snoring and I was really frightened because I saw many shadows in the wall. I remember that I said “it’s just the tree’s branch”. Nevertheless, that was impossible because our bedroom doesn’t have any windows, so my afraid became panic. In fact, I got out of bed and I shook my sister who like had dead. Furthermore, her body was cold and her snores became shriller. I ran over the door but it was lock. I came back to bed and I wrapped myself of foot by head the blanket with. When I uncovered I noticed my sister had gone, yes, she had gone at school. I also noticed that all had been a bad dreams.

Friendship
A famous proverb "A friend in need is a friend in deed" tells friendship is required between people. We all need to rely on someone to survive or live in the society.
These days, many people do not make friends with other people. When we don't know someone or we are not friends of someone, it is easy to build up frustration and resentment. It would probably worsen the matter. In order to build up our friendship, first we need to invite other people to know you and make friends with someone in sincere manner. Then we would become friends. Real friends would help each other in many ways. We encourage and forgive our friends. We accept the differences in our friends. We would have less conflicts with our friends. People would live in perfect harmony.
Second, we have to maintain our friendship and not destroy it. So be always friendly to other people and other people will be friendly to you.
Finally, the more friendship in the world, the better wonderful world we live in.

An Event that Changed My Life
Singing a song for someone is one of my favorite moments and it makes me smile. When I was nineteen years old, I started to work as a bartender. At first, I just made some cocktails and listened to our customers’ complaint and settled their stresses. But it was a good opportunity to know about real Japanese society, it means some inside stories. One day, one of our customers asked me to sing his favorite song. The bar had a stage and everyone knew I liked singing. The customer was so tired, and he wanted me to sing to heal his mind. I happily granted his request and sang a song with much feeling for him. Suddenly, the tears were running down his face. His face was smiling but his heart was crying. His smile was so kind as an angel. After I finished singing, I walked toward him and gave him my big smile. When he was leaving our bar, he said “Thank you Aya, thank you so much…” Since this moment, I began to know the sweets of singing and sing at some bars. It was not for money, not for fame. It was for people, for myself, and for everyone.

My grandmother is the special person that I will never forget.My grandmother was a "superwomen".She lives in a small village,gas is too expensive to use for the people.My granmother wentto hack some branch instead gas in the hill.It is almost 2 miles far from her house to the hill,but my grandmother could get 500 pounds branch every day,and she didn't use any tool except a pole.You will not belive that she was a 60 years old woman.My grandmoter love us very much.My sisters and me lived with our grandmother in our childhood.She always pay all of her attention to us,protect us;take care our life,but she never take care about herself.My grandmother was a "superstar" in her town also.Everyone knew her and respect her very much,because my grandmother loved to help others,so we always get much help from other people also.I am proud of my grandmother and love her very much.

An Event that Changed your Life
I will never forget the day I got on that plane to come to America, it completed changed my view on family. Family did not mean much to me, they were always there when I needed them, and they were there when I did not. They were there a little too much in a way. I wanted to get away from them. But everything changed when I got here, now they mean much more than that to me, and I have realized they can never be there too much; they can never be there enough.
I was having trouble adapting to the college life in Korea, and I was having family problems. I decided that I should leave home for a while and experience something new. I decided to come and study in America. It seemed that was going to solve my problems. Coming here, I thought that I could start a new and happy life. However, when I got here, I things were very different from what I had expected. The courses in school were so hard that I could not understand them. Also, it was hard to get acquainted with classmates because I could not communicate freely with confidence. It seemed like hell. I realized that spending my birthday without my family was not fun, and spending any special day alone was a lot more depressing than I had ever imagined. I needed my family through the sad and the happy times. I realized that I could not live without them. Being alone in America made me realize the importance of family and their support. I started calling them more often. And even though I had never told my parents that I love them before, I started expressing it to them. Now, I learned to see that my family is a very special part of my life, and I am very thankful that I got a chance to change for good. Now I cannot describe what family means to me with words, it is something more than just a definition. It is a feeling rather than just a noun.

An Important Lesson that You Learned
The important lesson that I learned is to be caution and careful. Last yaer I went to Florida alone. On my way back, While I was tranfering domestic flights at the airport, I was hurried when the officer was checking my carry on at the checking gate. After they checked my bag, I forgot my Talking Dictionary in the tray,because I was so hurried to go back home. After I arrived home, I just remembered that I lost my Talking-Dictionary at the checking gate. So this event it made me realize that I should be careful when I have to transportation.

A person I‘ll never forget
There are a lot of people who came to our lives bringing a lot of things to us. Some of these people have a big impact on us, for one or any reason they just came and fill our lives with a new light. Some of this people came and never go from our hearts and make us know the great value of friendship. It is the case of a friend of mine; well really she was my teacher in high school. Her name was Liliana Marin, she was the art teacher I my school. We made a great friendship because we shared the same interest for: music, poetry, literature and art. She was more than a teacher, she liked to share with the students and she found the way to make the classes something really good, her classes were just amazing and everybody loved it. Liliana taught me more that something written in a book or just some theory; she taught me the expression of the life, she taught me to enjoy each moment in my life. Liliana was a great person who loves make people happy and she gave everything that she had to the others. More that teach about an important painters, she taught me how to paint my life with the colors of happiness, she taught me how to taste the sweet honey of life and how to swim in an ocean of marmalade. She was more that another teacher; she was a friend who cares for make her students to wake and enjoy their lives. She taught me the importance of make of my life an adventure. Liliana gave me a new colors to paint my days and my nights , she taught me the way how to liberate my desires, in some way to be myself.
She gave me a lot of moments of happiness. She was a really great woman in my life. Unfortunately she passed away in 2004; she had a heart attack when she was teaching. She gave her last moment doing what she loved to do. To teach was her passion and it is that her passion for everything that makes of Liliana a great person that I will never forget because thanks to her I had learned that passion and how to be myself. Now that I look to the shy it has a new color and everything around me is different. When she died it was painful to me, but I know that she is painting the rainbow whit the color of her love.

Importance Of Money
I learned the importance of money after I came here. In China, we had our own houses, car, a steady job and we were able to speak in our native language. So everything was very convenient. I use to think money was easier to earn in China. But after arriving here and finding my own job, I know earn money is very hard. First , I have to take public transportation, live in a rented apartment and learn how to speak English. One year ago, I just arrived here with my family. We could not communicate with anyone in English, so we finding job was difficult. But we had more bills to pay. So living here has made me realize that it is difficult to make money and money is very important. Second, I see that a lot of people in America have good jobs, but I also see that there are many people ask for money on the streets. If these people have money , they can not asking others to give them money. I do not know if they are lazy or can not find a job, but seeing so many of them make me believe that money is very important. Finally, there is a Chinese saying:” Having money does not makes you invincible, but having no money makes everything impossible. Now I understand this saying clearly.

Between the fall of 1979 and the summer of 1988 many events happened that changed my life,but it was one particular day which changed my life forever. An icy cold winter night in 1987,I was at my desk studying for the next day exam .My mom's aunt was at our home .They were talking and laughing. "Oh can some one tell them to be less loud , I can't concentrate"; I thought.I looked outside from my bedroom window it was dark and snowing ,and I wondered if school would be closed because of the snow.Suddenly, I heard a dreadful explosion then, everything started shaking. Before I could realize what was happening , I heard another sound of explosion and echo of the red alert : " Attention ,Attention !! The siren you heard is the danger signal . Red alert! Leave at once and prepare to go to your shelters! then , the house went completely dark .It was another black out . I ran to the basement which we were using as a shelter during the Iraqi attacks. This was another air attack on Tehran by Iraqis, but this time was different.They attacked Tehran with missiles . In a period of the few hours, fourteen missiles hit Tehran . After the first day of attacks , my family decided to leave the town. Therefore , we went north towards the Caspian sea and stayed in our summer house for almost five months . On our way to north I witnessed how Tehran was covered by sorrow and sadness. The sky was gray and orange at a different part of city with smoke rising from the fire where the missiles had landed . In one night , the over-populated and polluted city had become a ghost town. I witnessed people who had pity in their eyes . Wanderers like a lost child looking for her mom, they were looking for their families in places ruined by missiles . All I could think of was the lines I used to read by Eliot: " Time present and time past are both perhaps present in time future , and time future contained in time past ". Is there going to be any future in our homeland ?! I felt tears running down my cheeks.
Nineteen years have passed since the war ended , but I still can feel my heart shaking when I remember the sad and defenseless faces of my fellow citizens .
I wish for a day that the world sees no person homeless from war and I hope to see the day that everyone lives with love and peace.

Stock
I like to take risks doing some things I believe in. Many years ago, I bought some stocks and lost a lot of money. Two years ago, before I came to Chicago, I risked all of my money to buy some stocks of a company because I believed they were growing. After six months, my investment decreased to about half, but I didn't regret my investment. I believed this company would succeed and my money would come back. Finally, this spring the company's stocks multiplied five times. Last month, they multiplied ten times. I sold all of my stocks and earned a lot of money. Now the stocks I sold have increased to about 13 times, and it seems like the stock value is still growing, but I don't regret it. This risk made me very happy even though I could have lost everything. Maybe I will take a risk again.
